Ingredients

1 c. margarine, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. regular oats (uncooked)
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Cream margarine.
Gradually add sugars; mix well.
Add egg; beat well.
Add oil and vanilla; mix.
Combine flour, salt and soda; add to mix and stir well.
Stir in other ingredients.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten top of ball with a fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 dozen.
