Chuckwagon Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. (6 medium) carrots, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces
    1/4 c. cooked, crumbled bacon
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. green onions, sliced in 1/8-inch pieces
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
Preparation
    Microwave:
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine 1/2 cup water and carrots.
    Cover; microwave on High, stirring halfway, for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Let stand 1 minute.
    Drain; set aside.
