Norwegian Fatigmann' Butter Cookie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. thick cream
1/8 tsp. vanilla or cardamon
1 1/2 c. flour (more if eggs are large)
Preparation

Beat eggs 10 minutes, add sugar to eggs and beat.
Add cream, vanilla or cardemon and enough flour to make a soft dough and roll very thin on pastry cloth with covered rolling pin.
Use flour generously on cloth and rolling pin cover if desired.
Cut into diamond shapes with knife or pastry wheel cutter.
Fry in deep fat until barely brown.
Dust with powdered sugar when still warm. Makes a large batch.
Store in covered box, not in tight container.
