Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. cranberries, rinse and remove stems
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    4 tsp. orange marmalade
    juice of 1 1/2 lemons
    2/3 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; bring to a boil. Cook on medium for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and cook until they pop, 10 to 15 minutes (they become transparent). Remove from heat. Combine orange marmalade and lemon juice. Allow mixture to cool.
