Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Add eggs, vanilla and salt. Blend well.
    Pour filling into pastry shell. Top with pecans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. Yields one 9-inch pie.
