Mom And Dad'S Lumberjack Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 green pepper
    1 carrot
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. white mustard seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Shred the first 3 ingredients 3 times.
    Bring the last 6 items to a rolling boil for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over vegetables immediately. Stir until all cabbage is equal in color.
    Let stand overnight and stir again.
    Refrigerate until used.
