Baked Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans water chestnuts (whole)
    1/2 lb. bacon (raw)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. ketchup
Preparation
    Wrap each chestnut in 1/2 strip raw bacon.
    Secure with toothpick.
    Place on broiler tray.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
    (Bake; do not broil.) While chestnuts are baking, mix sugar and ketchup in a small bowl.
    Remove wrapped chestnuts from pan.
    (Do not remove toothpicks.)
    Place in baking dish.
    Pour ketchup mixture over chestnuts.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve hot.
