Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. butter
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground mixed spices
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. berries
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until light, after adding each egg.
    Add buttermilk.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture, a little at a time. Last, fold in berries.
    Bake in layer pans about 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
