Cheesy Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable cooking spray
    3/4 c. sliced green onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped sweet red pepper
    3 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    4 1/2 c. skim milk, divided
    2 c. frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
    2 1/2 tsp. chicken flavored bouillon granules
    1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
    3/4 c. shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese (3 oz.)
Preparation
    Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.
    Add green onions, celery and sweet red pepper; saute until tender.
    Combine flour and 1/2 cup milk; stir until smooth.
    Add flour mixture, remaining 4 cups milk, corn, bouillon granules and ground pepper to vegetable mixture.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.
    Add cheese; cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
    Yield:
    6 cups (181 calories per 1 cup serving, 20% from fat).
