Marie'S Mexican Fried Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. dry yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Shape into 6 balls.
    Roll out each ball to 1/8 inch thickness.
    Cut into wedges.
    Fry quickly in hot grease.
    Drain on towel.
    This bread goes very well with vegetable soup or soup beans.
