Kielbasa Casserole - cooking recipe

1 lb. smoked kielbasa
1 medium green pepper, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 medium sweet red pepper, cut into 1/2-inch strips
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/4 c. beer
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation

Cut kielbasa sausage into 2-inch pieces. Slash each piece with a sharp knife to cut through the skin and about 1/4-inch into meat.
Place sausage into a 10-inch skillet.
Arrange all of the peppers and onion rings around the sausage.
In a screw-top jar, combine the beer and prepared mustard. Cover and shake well. Pour mixture into skillet.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve sausage and onion with a slotted spoon.
