Sausage-Potato Bake - cooking recipe

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken or celery soup
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
2 Tbsp. green pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. thinly sliced, peeled potatoes
1/2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation

Crumble sausage in skillet and cook; drain.
Mix together soup, milk, onion, pimento, green pepper, salt and pepper.
Place half of potatoes in greased, 2-quart casserole.
Add half of sausage, then half of soup mixture.
Repeat layers.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Remove cover; sprinkle with cheese and bake another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
