Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pt. fresh strawberries, cut and drained
    1 deep dish pie shell or 2 regular pie shells
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to a rolling boil for 5 minutes, then cool to lukewarm.
    Add 2 pints fresh strawberries and fold into the syrupy mixture.
    Pour into baked pie shells.
