Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 baked pastry shell
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Mash 1 pint of strawberries until juice is well extracted, bring to boil.
    Add sugar mixed with cornstarch and cook until clear and thick.
    Place 1 pint of whole berries in the baked pastry shell.
    Pour over these the hot cooked berries, then place in refrigerator until very cold.
    Top with sweetened whipped cream before serving.
