Cherry Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix together sugar and butter; cream them then add the dry ingredients.
Spread part of dough on a greased cookie sheet, cover dough with cherry pie filling.
Top with the rest of dough. (Hard to spread but little spoonfuls will melt together while cooking.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
