Coconut Cake Icing(Aunt Cleo Casey) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 egg whites
3 c. sugar
almost 1 c. cold water
3 Tbsp. Karo syrup

Preparation

Mix sugar, water and syrup together and cook until makes a string (thin as a hair).
Beat egg whites stiff.
Gradually pour sugar mixture over egg whites and beat.
