Creamy Chicken Noodle Supper - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. sage
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 oz. medium noodles, cooked and drained
1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
1 c. mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
1/4 c. toasted, sliced almonds
Preparation

In large saucepan over medium heat, cook onion in hot butter until tender, stirring often.
Stir in soup, milk, sage and pepper until well mixed.
Stir in noodles, chicken and vegetables just until mixed.
Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Stir casserole; sprinkle with almonds.
Bake for 5 minutes more.
Makes 4 servings.
