Aunt Joan'S Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    smoked ham (butt), size that fits in roaster pan
Preparation
    Cut off skin and as much fat as possible.
    Face cut side facing down in pan.
    Add 2 cups water.
    Cover.
    Put in cold oven.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0, turn off heat immediately.
    Wait 2 hours.
    Turn back on and when temperature reaches 400\u00b0, time for 20 minutes.
    Turn off and leave in oven overnight.
    Do not open or remove top until next morning.
