Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. lasagna noodles
    1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 lb. hot sausage
    1 crushed garlic clove
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. basil
    4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 c. cottage cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles as package directs.
    Brown ground chuck, sausage, onions and garlic in large skillet.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
    Boil gently uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour 1/3 of sauce in bottom of 8-inch square casserole.
    Place a layer of half of the noodles over sauce.
    Spread half of the cottage cheese over the noodles.
    Top with half remaining sauce and half the Jack and other cheeses.
    Add noodles and rest of sauce.
    Add Parmesan before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
