Yams Hawaiian Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans (1 lb.) sweet potatoes
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shopped pecans
1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
Preparation

Slice sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch thick pieces, or mash. Combine with pineapple, butter, sugar and cinnamon in 2 qt. casserole. Microwave at high 2 to 4 minutes. If dish is not hot and topping melted after 2 minutes, rotate dish 1/4 turn before continuing to microwave.
