Tweedy'S Crispy Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. cucumbers, peeled and sliced
    1 c. onion, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Marinate cucumbers and onions in salt in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Drain.
    Dissolve over medium heat sugar and vinegar. Pour
    hot mixture over drained cucumbers and onions. Sprinkle celery seed.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
