Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 1/2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Sift flour and salt into bowl.
Blend in shortening well until the size of peas.
Put water, lemon juice and egg in dry mixture; stir until damp enough to hold together.
Divide in half; makes two crusts.
Bake bottom crust 15 minutes, then pour filling into crust.
Then put top crust on and bake 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
