Green Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3 Tbsp. butter or oil
1 medium onion
2 lb. green beans (fresh or frozen)
1/2 c. tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

If beans are fresh, snip the ends and cut in half.
Wash and drain, if frozen.
In a saucepan, brown meat in oil or butter. Add onion and saute.
Add beans and water to cover.
Cook in covered pot until beans and meat are tender, approximately 40 to 50 minutes.
Add tomato paste, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes longer.
Serve over cooked rice.
