Smoky Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon
4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
6 c. peeled cup-up pumpkin (1-inch pieces)
6 c. beef stock
1/2 c. Marsala wine
1 tsp. thyme
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation

Dice bacon and cook in stockpot over medium-high heat until crisp.
Remove bacon; drain and set aside.
