Apple Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dairy sour cream
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped unpeeled apples
Preparation
    Cut butter into sugar; add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Blend in vanilla and sour cream.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add nuts.
    Combine with first mixture. Stir in apples.
    Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan or in 2 small loaf pans (batter is very thick).
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) about 1 hour.
