Crock-Pot Beef-Barley Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. minced onion
    2 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1 1/2 c. sliced celery
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    6 c. water
    2 bay leaves (optional)
    28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. diced green pepper (optional)
    1/2 c. barley (if you use more, add more water accordingly)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large frying pan, brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Pour meat mixture into a crock-pot.
    Add all remaining ingredients to crock-pot.
    Simmer soup on high 1 1/2 to 2 hours or more until done.
