Peach Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 recipe pastry
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour or 3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
6 c. peeled and sliced fresh peaches
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
butter or margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Line a 9-inch pie pan with a little more than half the pastry.
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and peaches.
Place in crust; sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.
Roll remaining pastry out and use.
Can be cut into fancy shapes and placed on top of peaches.
Flute edges of pie.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and peaches are tender. Makes one 9-inch pie.
