Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan.
In a 2-quart heavy pan, over medium heat, heat all ingredients to boiling point or until sugar dissolves.
Stir often.
Cook to a firm ball stage.
Pour into pan and let cool for 30 minutes or so.
Cut and let stand for up to 2 hours.
Wrap each candy in plastic wrap.
