Bake And Take Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oats
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla (later)
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats.
Cream Crisco, brown sugar and sugar.
Add eggs.
Add salt, vanilla, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg to flour.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture; add oats.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 in sheet pan.
