Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
4-5 tbsp. flour
1/4 cocoa
4 eggs
2 c. canned milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 baked 9 in. deep dish pie crust
Preparation

Mix together sugar, cocoa, flour, milk, yolks of eggs and butter.
Cook over medium heat until thick.
Add vanilla and let cool.
Pour into baked pie crust and top with meringue that has been beaten until stiff peaks form.
Add 5 tbsp. sugar to meringue and 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar.
Brown at 350 degrees.
