Oven Peanut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. flour
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1 (2 oz.) can Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Mix flour, butter, brown sugar and salt until crumbly.
    Pat flat into pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0
    for 10 minutes.
    Melt chips, butter, water and syrup and pour into peanuts.
    Spread over hot crumb base and return to oven 10 minutes.
    Loosen edges while warm.
    Cool and cut into desired sizes.
    Makes 48 (2-inch) squares.
