Great Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. melted butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Put all ingredients in a bowl; mix well with electric mixer at medium-high speed.
Pour into greased and floured pans; bake.
Top with your favorite chocolate or white frosting.
For cupcakes bake 15 minutes, for layers bake 30 minutes and 9 x 13-inch pan bake 40 minutes.
