Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. jam
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and jam. Beat. To flour, add soda, salt and spices alternately with milk to the first mixture. Beat well. Pour into greased tube cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 55 minutes. Use a caramel icing.
