Lamb Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lamb, cubed
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 lb. small red potatoes
    8 slender carrots
    4 small turnips, halved
    1 medium onion
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Simmer meat in soy sauce.
    Reduce heat and cover.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Uncover and let sizzle in its own fat until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
