Delicious Applesauce Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or other shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped raisins
2 tsp. soda (add to applesauce and stir)
1/2 c. dates
1/2 c. figs
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. mixed fruit
2 eggs
3 c. applesauce

Preparation

Mix as any other fruitcake.
Bake until firm.
Use pan of water under cake and piece of Reynolds Wrap on top of cake.
Take off Reynolds Wrap and let brown slightly.
