Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Pour into a 9-inch pie crust that has been baked at least 5 minutes in the oven.
    Bake slowly at 300\u00b0.
    For two pies, use 5 eggs and double the rest of the ingredients.
