1 lb. suet
1 lb. hamburger
1 tsp. sage
1 crushed bay leaf
4 large potatoes
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Fry suet and brown hamburger.
Season with sage and bay leaf. Cut potatoes and onions thin and arrange in layers alternately in casserole.
Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over layers.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven (moderate oven) until potatoes are tender.
