Battletown Inn Baked Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 yellow squash
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 c. cream
1/4 c. crushed saltine crackers
2 Tbsp. butter
bread crumbs and butter
Preparation

Wash and slice squash; boil in salted water until tender. Drain and mash.
Saute onion in butter.
Add cream and crackers, stirring and cooking for a few minutes.
Mix with squash and place in greased casserole. Cover with bread crumbs; dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Serves 4 to 6.
