Chicken Liver Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 1 can mushrooms, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Clean chicken livers.
    Saute onions and mushrooms (if using fresh) in oil until wilted.
    Add chicken livers and saute until light brown outside and pink on inside.
    Add cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, salt and pepper and thyme.
    Simmer until hot and bubbly.
    Stir in milk.
    Heat through and serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
