Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
6 Tbsp. brown sugar
6 Tbsp. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 each salt and soda
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts.
Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
