Praline-Taffy-Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for a double crust pie
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    dash of salt
    10 caramels (cut in half)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    6 c. thinly sliced, peeled cooking apples (2 1/4 lb.)
    half and half, light cream or milk
Preparation
    Prepare crust.
    On lightly floured surface, roll out half of the pastry to form a 12-inch circle.
    Mix into a 9-inch pie plate. Trim even with rim or pie plate.
    For top crust roll our remaining dough.
    Set aside.
