Ingredients

2 lb. fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 pt. heavy or whipping cream
Preparation

Rub strawberries through a nylon sieve using a wooden spoon. Stir in lemon juice.
Gradually add sugar, stirring well between each addition. Whip the cream until peaks form and fold into mixture.
Pour into freezer container and freeze.
Beat after 1 hour. Cover, then seal and freeze.
