Ingredients

2 eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 lb. pkg. chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet.
Mix sugar with eggs and add to melted butter, also dates.
Cook this mixture until it thickens and browns, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Cool; form into rolls and roll in coconut, powdered sugar or chopped nuts.
Wrap roll and refrigerate.
Slice as needed.
