Corn Pone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    enough corn meal to make thick batter, approximately 1 c.
Preparation
    Makes 2 pie tins full.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 25 minutes.
    As good cold as hot.
