Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 c. milk
2 c. whipping cream
2/3 c. lemon juice
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon peel
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
Beat at low speed 1 to 2 minutes.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cover.
Freeze until firm (about 4 hours).
Spoon into larger mixer bowl.
Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy but not thawed (2 to 3 minutes). Return to pan and refreeze at least 4 hours or until firm.
