Bart'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 qt. water
    3 onions, chopped
    4 carrots, chopped
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    3 or 4 potatoes, diced
    fresh parsley (handful)
    1 can peeled tomatoes
    3 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 cans minced clams
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put water in large pot.
    Add onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, parsley and tomatoes.
    Fry bacon until browned; add to water mixture with the drippings.
    Add clams, salt and pepper. Cook 1 hour or more.
