Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large round steak, cut in cubes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can beef consomme soup
    1/2 c. water *
    sour cream (optional)
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown meat in shortening.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Then add the next 5 ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours, then add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet.
    Thicken with 4 tablespoons of flour mixed with a bit of water.
    Just before serving, add 1/2 cup sour cream.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
