Mama'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Heat together next four ingredients until melted, then cool until about 110\u00b0.
    Add yeast and egg to water, sugar and shortening mixture.
    Mix in flour, half at a time.
    Knead until the dough handles well.
    Let rise until double in size.
    Roll out and cut into desired size.
    Let rise until double.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
