Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. dried apricots
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Soak apricots
    1/2 hour.
    Drain and chop or cut up with scissors.
    Beat egg until
    light;
    stir in sugar and mix well. Stir in butter.
    Sift
    flour
    with rest of dry ingredients and add alternately with orange
    juice
    and
    water.
    Add
    nuts and apricots and mix well.
    Pour batter into well greased loaf pan ( 9 x 5-inches) and bake
    for
    1
    hour
    and 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven. (Also makes 3 small loaves, baked about 1 hour.)
