Salmon Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 1/2 oz.) can pink salmon
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. dried minced onion
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Drain the canned salmon, reserving 2 tablespoons of the liquid.
    In a medium mixing bowl, stir together reserved liquid, egg, bread crumbs, cheese, onion and thyme.
    Add drained salmon; mix well.
    Shape into 1/2-inch thick patties.
    Cook in hot oil over medium heat until each side is brown.
